This document contains the administrative section of the Historic Structures Report for the Warehouse - Granary at White's Ferry (Building Number 33), part of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Monument. The structure was a collapsed ruin as of January 1962. It was situated in an area of high visitor traffic and visibility. Background data on the building's history was limited. The building as is or restored was perceived to have little use for interpretive, administrative, or operational purposes. The recommendation was to 1) measure and photograph any portions determined to be worthy of recording, 2) eliminate visitor hazard by removal of building materials, and 3) stabilize foundation when funds are available. Memos describing the work are attached.
