This report contains architectural information about the warehouse at White's Ferry, located adjacent to the road leading to the ferry landing. The location was probably selected to be convenient to customers in both Maryland and Virginia, across the Potomac. The report covers the design of the structure, existing conditions, and recommendations. The exact date of construction is not known, but appearance of materials and methods of assembly indicate that it could have been constructed as late as the 1870s or 1880s. At the time of the report, it was in an almost total state of collapse. It was recommended that the debris be cleared from the site by salvage of representative portions of the fabric and stabilization of the foundation and retaining walls.
