This report contains the architectural data for the proposed restoration of the exterior of the Ballard House at Colonial National Historical Park. The project would restore the structure to represent the revolutionary period in compliance with the recommendation of the Master Plan for the Yorktown Developed Area Plan. It includes a construction cost estimate. The Ballard House is described, including the changes that occurred through its history. Existing conditions and proposed recommendations are divided into sections by parts of the structure. It was originally a one and a half story frame rectangular structure with a porch ell. The porch ell was later enclosed and enlarged into the kitchen, rear entry hall, bath, and storage or dressing room. The main rectangle of the structure has a gabled tin roof with five gable windows.
