One of eight presentations about historic preservation in Horse Cave, Kentucky developed for fourth graders. This presentation describes eight different architectural styles (Gothic Revival, Folk Victorian, Richardsonian Romanesque, Queen Anne, Craftsman/Bungalow, 20th Century Commercial, French Eclectic, and Art Deco) with examples of each style in Horse Cave. The project was sponsored by the Horse Cave Architectural Board, City of Horse Cave with a grant from the Kentucky Heritage Council. Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Kentucky Heritage Council, administered by the State, Tribal, Local Plans and Grants division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number P17AF00104).
