This report submittal includes the combined Work Session Meeting Notes and Site Trip Notes for the ‘Update Condition Assessment, Treatment Recommendations, and Class C Construction Estimate for Birthplace House and Visitor Center, and Develop Site Drainage Concept’ project at the William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace National Historic Site in Hope, Arkansas. The A/E Team, led by STRATA Architecture Inc. was onsite to Tuesday and Wednesday, November 2 and 3, 2021. The team included STRATA Architecture Inc., Structural Engineering Associates, Inc. (SEA), Henderson Engineers, and SK Design Group (SKDG). The team gathered information and assessed the existing conditions to provide updated treatment recommendations and Class C construction cost estimates for the Birthplace House and the Visitor Center. The Comfort Station was not included in this scope of work; however, some items were noted to be addressed in the electrical survey, and those are included in the recommendations. Work also included analysis and development of a conceptual treatment recommendation with costs for site improvements to alleviate poor drainage, which is a contributing factor in the advanced deterioration of foundations of both of the houses. Deliverables for this project include: - Work Session Meeting Notes and Site Trip Notes - Conditions Assessment / Treatment Recommendations Tables for Each Structure and Site - Cost Estimates per Recommended Phase of Work for Each Structure and Site - Existing Conditions Photographs in electronic .jpeg format
