Ozone Damage Monitoring Dataset for the Cumberland Piedmont Network 2008-2024

Jernigan J. 2024. Ozone Damage Monitoring Dataset for the Cumberland Piedmont Network 2008-2024. Cumberland Piedmont Network, National Park Service

The objective of this protocol (IRMA Ref #2188209; version 2.0 #2303228) is to provide the Cumberland Piedmont Network (CUPN) and its parks with ozone concentration and injury data. The data collected will primarily address two questions: are ozone concentrations high enough to cause injury to plants and is that injury occurring? Ancillary issues, such as whether ozone concentrations are high enough to violate human health standards, will also be explored. This data set contains foliar injury data (with the validity of its data being supported using voucher specimens) in CUPN parks using established methods detailed in the above reference protocol document.
