An Environmental Assessement of the Lost Man Creek watershed restoration project. "The NPS proposes to remove all or part of about 28 miles of abandoned logging roads in the Lost Man Creek watershed. This action is needed to control erosion, restore watershed functions, and protect park resources damaged by past land use and threatened by erosion associated with logging roads, especially high quality anadromous fish habitat. This plan describes three alternatives for erosion control and treatments to restore lands disturbed by logging and roads in Lost Man Creek over the next 6-10 years. The “no action” alternative includes a description of previous road removal work in the watershed. Two action alternatives for erosion control and restoration in the watershed through treatment of the remaining roads are presented."
