'The 2006 season was another successful season for the park's breeding peregrine falcons and interpretative peregrine falcon watch. This was the 16th continuous year of breeding success since the peregrine falcons were reintroduced into Acadia National Park in 1984-1986.' This report starts with a three and a half page summary of the years events related to the peregrine falcon breeding season in ANP. It is noted that two out of four nesting pairs were successful. The two failed sites were Jordan Cliffs and Valley Cove, and the two successful sites were the Precipice and Beech Cliffs. The report continues to summarizes all observations and activities within the park during 2006 that related directly to the peregrine falcons (including visitor education and outreach), the information that was gleaned from these observations, and recommendations based on this information.
