This report is an inventory, analysis and evaluation of the cultural landscape of Sutro Heights Park in the Ocean District of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It contains a documentation of research findings that place this landscape in its proper historical context. Based on this research, the historic landscape resources of the site have been analyzed and evaluated and their significance and remaining integrity have been assessed. Recommendations and guidelines for preservation and enhancement of the site’s historic landscape features are included to provide a general framework for future maintenance and interpretation of the site.
