This report proposed that the structure known as the Archer Cottage be restored to its original form to help develop the waterfront interpretive theme. Its location and proximity to other features are useful in emphasizing this significant section of the waterfront that was important in both town and military history of Yorktown. The restoration is focused on the exterior. It is proposed that all levels be adapted to quarters/residential use. There are two report sections under this cover. The second section provides a more in depth summary and evaluation of the data related to the Archer Cottage on Lot No. 107 of Yorktown's waterfront. It includes photographs of existing conditions (interior and exterior) and historical illustrations, and presents recommendations.
