This document includes an introduction and background to work undertaken by Architectural Resources Group as A/E Consultant to the National Park Service under Term Contract CX-2000-O-0030. It describes the content and use of the Building Inventory for the Presidio of San Francisco developed between December 1990 and August 1991. The Presidio Building Inventory is comprehensive document and voluminous one including more than 860 buildings accessible either on disk as database or as individual building inspection records on file at the National Park Service Presidio Planning Office. This Report is intended to be brief companion document to the complete inventory to aid the user in locating and understanding the information found therein
