The conference focused on the principles of the various educational activities in the national parks. It presented a condensed statement of the principles underlying the major fields of activity in the educational work in the national parks. Park Naturalist was the early name for the position known today as Park Ranger (Interpretation) or Interpretive Park Ranger. The Proceedings contain all of the papers and speeches presented at the conference.
