The second Park Naturalists Training Conference was the first service-wide naturalist conference. It focused on interpretation in the parks and the Park Naturalist as interpreters who enhanced the visitor experience and provided education to the general public. Park Naturalist was the early name for the position known today as Park Ranger (Interpretation) or Interpretive Park Ranger. The Proceedings contain all of the papers and speeches presented at the conference.
