Landbirds Monitoring for the San Francisco Bay Area Inventory and Monitoring Network
Dettling M and Humple D. Landbirds Monitoring for the San Francisco Bay Area Inventory and Monitoring Network. 1996. National Park Service
This project contains products resulting from Landbirds monitoring at National Park Service, San Francisco Bay Area Network Parks. Landbirds were selected as a focus group for bird monitoring in SFAN because they provide cost-effective information about ecological conditions of interest and they are well represented in the major terrestrial habitats in the parks. Landbirds data will provide park managers with data and information that can be utilized to help better address landbird status and trends. Point count monitoring is done once every three years. Avian Knowledge Network projects for this data are Coastal NPS Monitoring (CNPSM), Palomarin (PALO) and Pinnacles National Park (PINN).
